# BestBid ranking rules

> Positions are sponsored placements ordered by total completed paid bid, highest first.

## Ordering and tie-breaks

Each eligible completed payment increases one listing's total within one title. When totals match, the listing that reached the total earlier ranks above. A deterministic technical key resolves any remaining tie.

## Eligibility and moderation

Only approved, active listings may participate. Misleading, unsafe, illegal, infringing, or bait-and-switch content can be rejected, suspended, or disqualified.

## Payments, refunds, and disputes

Refunds, disputes, and authorized adjustments are recorded in the ledger and may reduce a total. A specific position is not guaranteed during Checkout or afterward.

## Interpretation
