Paid total

The cumulative value of eligible completed payments for one listing in one ranking, after relevant refunds, disputes, and authorized adjustments.

Position

The listing's current order within a ranking. Higher paid totals appear first. A position is not reserved, permanent, or a statement of quality.

Listing

A moderated product, brand, or creator identity submitted by an authenticated owner. Only approved, active listings may enter active rankings.

Ranking title

A category published by BestBid in which approved listings can buy advertising exposure. Users cannot create arbitrary titles in the launch version.

Completed paid bid

A one-time payment accepted by the server-side payment and ledger workflow. An open Checkout session does not reserve a position.

Sponsored placement

The correct interpretation of a BestBid position: paid advertising, not a review, vote, award, certification, or endorsement.

Tie-break

When paid totals match, the listing that reached the amount first ranks above. A deterministic technical key resolves any remaining tie.
