Terms of service

These terms govern use of BestBid.lol and purchases of advertising on its public rankings. “BestBid”, “we” and “us” refer to the service operator. Use our contact page for service, payment, content or legal enquiries. Read the ranking rules, advertising disclosure and privacy notice before submitting a bid.

1. You are buying advertising

A ranking position reflects the listing’s recorded paid total in one title. It is not a review, vote, award, quality certification or endorsement. BestBid does not promise a particular position, duration at that position, number of visitors, search visibility, revenue or other business result. There is no wallet, transferable credit, investment return, prize or payout.

2. Eligibility and guest checkout

You must be at least 18 and legally able to make the purchase. If acting for a business or another person, you must have authority to do so and to promote the submitted destination. No BestBid account is required to browse or bid. Paying toward a listing does not establish ownership of its website or profile, grant editing rights, or make you its exclusive sponsor.

3. Bids, totals and changing positions

Choose a published ranking, enter a website or supported social profile, and select a target total. The additional amount is calculated from the listing’s existing total when checkout is created. Review the amount and currency shown in Stripe before paying; that is the charge you authorize. A bid is a one-time payment, not a subscription or authorization for future bids.

Only confirmed, eligible payments increase a total. A payment confirmation page alone does not establish that the ranking has updated. Positions can change during checkout. Highest recorded total ranks first; ties use the time that total was reached, followed by a deterministic technical tie-break. Payments from other people can also increase the same listing’s total.

4. Payment and publication

Stripe processes checkout and collects the payment and billing information needed for the transaction. BestBid does not collect full card numbers or card security codes in its own application. A successful payment can publish the listing automatically, subject to review and the ranking rules. Keep your receipt and private order-status link; do not post that link publicly.

5. Refunds, errors and mandatory rights

Agents may use the sponsorship API with an authorized external wallet when the selected payment method is enabled. Each purchase requires acceptance of this terms version and authority to promote the destination. A quote expires after five minutes and states the exact advertising charge; wallet or network fees, if any, are handled by the buyer’s wallet separately. BestBid does not hold wallet keys or authorize future purchases. After a timeout, check the same order rather than making another payment.

Contact us promptly about duplicate charges, an incorrect amount, an unauthorized payment or a paid placement that did not appear. Include the public ranking or listing URL first; share transaction details only through a private support channel when needed to locate the purchase.

Being outbid or not receiving the traffic you hoped for does not by itself entitle you to a refund for advertising already provided. We assess payment errors, service failures and other refund requests on their circumstances and applicable law. An approved refund is processed through Stripe and reduces the relevant paid total; it may change the ranking.

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer protections, remedies for defective or unprovided services, or any applicable cancellation or withdrawal right. Clicking through to checkout does not by itself waive those rights. Any legally required consent to early performance must be obtained separately. You may also use your payment provider’s dispute process.

6. Content, links and moderation

Submit accurate information and only material you are entitled to use. Do not submit unlawful, deceptive, impersonating, infringing, hateful, exploitative or malicious content, unsafe destinations, or material designed to evade moderation. Do not attack the service, bypass access controls or interfere with the payment or ranking records.

You retain your rights in submitted material and give BestBid permission to host, format and display it as needed to operate the placement. We may pause, remove or restrict a listing or ranking for safety, legal compliance, abuse or a breach of these terms. Payment does not prevent moderation. Contact us to report content or ask for a decision to be reviewed.

7. Third-party destinations and availability

Advertisers remain responsible for their products, claims and external websites. A sponsored link is not a guarantee of their safety or performance. External services apply their own terms and privacy notices. BestBid may be unavailable during maintenance, incidents or provider outages; we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or permanent operation of a ranking.

8. Responsibility and changes

Each party remains responsible for its own conduct under applicable law. No provision excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. We do not impose an exclusive court or arbitration requirement that overrides those rights.

We may update these terms for future use and purchases, showing the revision date here. Changes do not retroactively remove rights attached to an earlier purchase. Where a material change requires notice or consent, we will provide it as required. Contact us if any term or charge is unclear before paying.
